Intel send out a price list of its 4-series chipsets to its partners. This includes the X48, Q45, Q43, P45, G45, G43 and also the new P43 chipset. The P43 will be a cut-down version of the P45 chipset, it will lack dual x8 PCI Express slots and will only support 1066MHz DDR3 memory instead of the DDR3 1333MHz support for the P45.

Intel 4-series chipset pricing (in 1,000 unit quantities):
X48: $70
Q45: $44
Q43: $40
P45: $40
G45: $40
G43: $34
P43: $34
In the first quarter of next year Intel will release the G41 entry-level IGP chipset but the pricing of this chipset isn't determined yet.
