Creating 3D objects in Excel

Gamasutra shows off some of the possibilities of Microsoft Excel's 3D engine. It's not like you'll be able to create kickass games with this but it's pretty cool:
It is understood that Excel is an all-round office tool, but probably it is unknown that it has a bunch of features that makes Excel a high-class 3D graphics engine.
