Spire Edge laptop sleeve launched

Spire has announced a new laptop sleeve called Edge.
“Laptop users are incredibly particular about the bags they use,” says Cory Barnes, founder of Spire. “The backpacks and messenger bags we design are based on intuition, experience and input from our customers – it’s about as far away from cookie cutter as you can get. They want durability without sacrificing individuality. After all, nobody likes to see their bag on someone else’s back.”

Inspired by simplicity, Barnes himself designed the new sleeve, which features a unique, triangular flap for easier access, secured by a Velcro closure. The exterior is constructed of tough 1680 denier Ballistic nylon, and laptops are cradled by a well-padded nylon interior. The Edge is available in all-black and gray/black, with more colors to follow later this year. The Edge sleeve is available in several flavors, including: the Edge 13 (13.0" x 9.25" x 1.25"), the Edge 15 (14.5" x 9.75" x 1.25") and the Edge 17 (15.5" x 10.25" x 1.25"). Barnes notes that the sleeves are perfect for MacBooks, but that widescreen PC users should go up one size to ensure a safe, secure fit.
The Edge sleeve is available for $20.
