Review : IOSS Bios Saviour

Posted on Friday, September 06 2002 @ 22:36:15 CEST by

PCArena heeft een Bios Saviour kaartje van IOSS gereviewd.
Deze kaart is bedoeld om het mogelijk te maken meerdere biosen te draaien op één pc :
Bios flashing can be one of the most daunting things you can do to your computer, especially if you haven't ever done it before. The chance of a bad flash is slim (if you follow the instructions) but the consequences of one are usually terminal (for your motherboard). A few years, Gigabyte introduced a dual bios feature to their motherboards, so that you could recover from a bad flash, or a virus that affects your bios. However this is no good if you don't own a Gigabyte motherboard. So what do you do?
