Doom III versions for Linux and Mac Os X will also be released

Posted on Sunday, July 18 2004 @ 00:54:08 CEST by

Some more news regarding Doom III coming from Todd Hollenshead:

  • Linux binaries of Doom III will be made available, but there is no release date for those yet. A boxed version of Doom III for Linux systems is not planned.
  • The date for the Mac Os X's Doom III is still "when it's done". ID is still working to get the Mac Os X version just as smooth as the Windows version.
  • A demo of Doom III will follow, but not until the game has arrived on U.S. store shelves.
