Patriot debuts DDR3 modules for NVIDIA chipsets

Posted on Friday, June 20 2008 @ 05:15:19 CEST by

Patriot Memory has launched new DDR3 memory modules with EPP 2.0 support for NVIDIA nForce chipsets:
The new Viper kits will feature EPP2.0 support and will be available as either 1 or 2GB single modules or as 2 and 4GB kits. The speeds will range from 1333MHz all the way up to 2000MHz. The black painted PCB is a nice touch and it looks good when contrasted with the green on the aluminum Viper heatspreader.

According to the press release, overclocking is a piece of cake, as EPP2.0 kicks in and tunes up these modules when paired up with an Nvidia nForce chipset.
