FUD Zilla had a chat with AMD VP of Sales & Marketing in Russia-CIS, REE; Turkey and learned the 45nm quad-core Deneb processors will arrive on time.
We were told that nothing has changed from a previous schedule. Back at Cebit 2008, Leslie Sabon a former director of product & brand management, now Vice President at AMD said that we should expect Deneb in 2H 2008. Pierre confirms this schedule.

We are slowly approaching Q4 2008 and this is the time that AMD will launch its 45nm quad core products. A 3GHz is possible but at the same time we can confirm that 3GHz Nehalem will beat 3GHz Deneb, and there is absolutely no question about it.
