SiS had July revenues of NT$800 million, representing an 8.5% sequential increase from NT$737 million in June, on increased demand for the SiS 661 integrated chipset, the sources noted.Volume shipments of these chipsets are expected by the end of August.
With about 10% of deliveries of the SiS 661 chipset orders delayed to August, the company expects its revenues to hit NT$1 billion in August, the sourced added.
Buoyed by increasing shipments of its PCIe-enabled chipsets, SiS expects third-quarter revenues to reach NT$2.74 billion, up 25% from NT$2.19 billion in the second quarter, the sources estimated.
