German computer site ATI Forum has some new AMD rumours. The site claims AMD's first 45nm K10.5 Opteron processors, codenamed Shanghai, will be available before the end of the year.

The site also claims AMD is going to ramp up the 32nm process as soon as possible in an attempt to close the traditional gap in process technology with Intel.
As we could find out from AMD close sources, the K10.5 (45nm) becomes first at “the end of the year" as Opteron onto the market. When the Deneb comes onto the market, unfortunately we could not find out. But Christmas is not excluded yet! Moreover, AMD shall already be very far at 32 nm and first Samples already being manufactured within few months. AMD wants to gain up the interval to Intel (9-12 month) at 32 nm.
