AMD 45nm 2.8GHz and 3GHz Deneb arrives in January 2009

Chile Hardware send us a roadmap of AMD's desktop processor plans for the last quarter of this year.

The roadmap unveils AMD will introduce Ultra-Value Client (UVC) solutions in November, these chips will compete against the VIA Nano and Intel Atom processors.

Also revealed are the launch date and clockspeeds of the first 45nm AMD Deneb processors. These chips will ship in December but won't be released until January 8th, 2009. There will be a 2.8GHz model along with a 3GHz model, both have a 125W TDP.
