Overclocking Pulse reports Intel will unveil more info about TjMax for Intel Core 2 processors at the IDF in Taiwan (October 20-21, 2008):
"So I got an email yesterday. From Benson Inkley, the same person who held the presentation about the DTS at IDF in August.

At IDF Taiwan details about TjMax for all Intel’s Core 2 processor line will be revealed. This includes Core 2 Duo, Quad, Xeons. Both 45nm and 65nm flavors. QX9775 should be mentioned as well.

Also more information should be revealed about the IA32_TEMPERATURE_TARGET MSR for the Nehalem."
This will enable 3rd party software developers to create more accurate temperature readout tools.
