Techseekers has tested Connect3D's Radeon 9000 and 9000 PRO :
Ok so these are not 3DMark Kings, but for those of you not willing to spend a huge amount of money just on your graphics card, I think you will find it hard to beat the 9000 Pro. If the Pro had 128Mb ram it would be the best of all worlds as we saw that the extra memory of the 9000 128MB did give slight improvement on Giants and Comanche 4. At full Pro speed that improvement would be very noticeable indeed. At under €130 euro these cards are exceptional value knocking the Xabre clear of that position. We also saw a minimal performance hit for Anisotropic filtering, another bonus.

Other things not covered in depth in this review are Hydravision and DVD playback. Since these are well known ATI features I felt it was unnecessary to go into detail with these features.DVD playback is at ATI's normal high Standards and Hydravision enables mult-display.Allowing you to use 2 VGA monitors,or a VGA and DVI monitor, and TVOUT.A new feature is FULLSTREAM which smooths out blocking internet video and mpeg.
