Nintendo to fix Wii storage issues in 2009

Posted on Friday, October 03 2008 @ 00:35:31 CEST by

Together with the launch of the Nintendo DSi, the company announced it will address the insufficient memory storage of the Wii console next year:
So as of spring 2009, you'll be able to save WiiWare and Virtual Console titles purchased via the Shopping Channel to SD. At least if you live in Japan, anyway - no plans have so far been announced for North America and Europe.

Nintendo also wants to get more people using their Wii and DS to connect to the internet. They're planning to launch special Wi-Fi adapters, and offer an incentive of 500 points to new users.
