MSI informed us they've released a new BIOS for the MSI Wind netbook that will allow you to overclock the Atom processor with 8, 6 or 24 percent - simply by pushing a button combination. You can find the MSI Wind BIOS 1.09 over here.

Furthermore, MSI also extended the warranty of its Wind U90 and U100 netbooks to 2 years:
Extended warranty

Buying an MSI Wind is now even more attractive, since MSI has extended its warranty for MSI Wind U90 and U100 netbooks from 1 year to 2 years Pick-up & Return at end-user level. This means MSI Wind’s warranty is now equal to the warranty of the company’s full sized notebooks. No extra cost is involved and no registration is needed to benefit from this extended warranty. It applies to all MSI Wind netbooks, which have been purchased already and are to be purchased in the future via the official MSI retail and reseller channels throughout Europe. The warranty on the battery remains 1 year.
