Buffalo unveils blazing fast Intel-based SSD

Techpowerup spotted Buffalo has released a very fast 2.5" solid state disk in Japan. The new Buffalo SHD-NSMR 80G uses Intel MLC flash memory chips and has a sequential read speed of 253MB/s and random read speed of 241.7MB/s! The drive sells for 103,950 yen, which is around $1,090 at the current currency exchange rate.
