Google 2008 Year-End Zeitgest now available

Every year Google publishes its Zeitgeist, a look back at some of the most popular search queries of the year. You can check it out over here, there are US and regional lists, but also top of the mind, politics, trendsetters, showbiz, sports and around the world lists.

Below is a look at the fastest rising global search terms, turns out Sarah Palin is the number one in this list.

  • In the US, Obama took the first spot in the fastest rising search terms, but Sarah Palin bested Obama in the fastest rising search terms in Google Image Search.
