Posted on Wednesday, December 17 2008 @ 05:11:27 CET by

PC Games Hardware reports there will likely be less exhibitors at CeBIT next year due to the economic crisis:
According to the host organization Deutsche Messe AG, several possible Cebit exhibitors still delay their decision because of the difficult economical situation.

The chief executive Wolfram von Fritsch estimates that in 2009 fewer exhibitors will come to Hannover and the exhibition space will be reduced, too: Many companies delay their decision about participating in the tradeshow. The Cebit will have to bear the consequences of the worldwide economic situation.
