XGI XP47 to be native PCI Express and Pixel Shader 3.0

XGI wants to introduce a stronger family of graphics cards. They are talking about a chip codenamed XP47, which is native PCI Express and has support for Pixel Shader 3.0
We all know that Shader 3.0 will be a long time with us and that we will be stuck with it until 2006 and possible the introduction of Longhorn.

It is due to arrive around six months from now. CeBIT?

Bear in mind that you should expect Nvidia and ATI to aim for their NV50 and R520 aka Fudo introduction at the same time. Yet another nasty challenge for XGI.
