Spire Spectrum II HDD backup tool unveiled

Posted on Monday, January 26 2009 @ 00:45:22 CET by

Spire has presented the Spectrum II, this is a tiny gadget that can transfer and backup data from IDE/SATA hard drives and other devices like DVD players. The Spectrum II connects to your PC via USB, this is an easy way to connect some old drives but it will be rather slow if you're going to transfer large amounts of data as USB 2.0 has a maximum transfer speed of just 480Mbps.
The Spectrum II supports any 2.5" / 3.5" and 5.25" IDE/SATA Hard drive or other applicable device with the support for both PC and MAC Desktops or notebooks. If you want the most versatile back-up device on the market, choose Spectrum II. Don't settle for 1-year warranty as offered by others. Trust the brand with the industry experience and 3-year warranty, Spire - Powered by Innovation.
