AMD: No Phenom II AM3 delivery problems

PC Games Hardware had a chat with AMD spokesman Michael Schmid and heard rumors about delivery problems with the Socket AM3 processors are not true:
PC Games Hardware talked to AMD's spokesman Michael Schmid and he confirmed that the announced layoffs will not cause any delivery problems with AM3 CPUs. Corresponding news are not true. The story about AMD planning a paper launch for its coming AM3 CPUs originally came from the Chinese website HKEPC and was spread afterwards in the Web.

Officially the launch of the new AMD socket AM3 CPUs is done with a so-called NDA. PC Games Hardware is also bound to professional discretion. Nevertheless diverse indications suggest a prompt presentation of the CPUs.
