ASUS and Acer working on Android phones

Both ASUS and Acer are working on Android based smartphones. DigiTimes claims the Android models from ASUS will be launched in cooperation with Garmin in the first half of the year at the earliest, while two Android phones from Acer are expected by the end of the year.
While launching Linux-based Garmin-Asus dual-brand Nuvifone G60 and Windows Mobile-based M20 at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC), Asustek-Garmin's Android-powered smartphones are expected to hit the market in the first half the year at the earliest, the sources noted.
