ASUS introduced a new Lamborghini branded notebook at CeBIT, the Lamborghini VX5. This 16" unit packs a Intel Core 2 Quad processor, 4GB of memory, Full HD display, NVIDIA GeForce GT 130M 1GB GDDR3 graphics, Blu-ray and an illuminated keyboard. Perhaps the most impressive feature of the Lamborghini VX5 is its storage; this model has a solid state disk with a capacity of 1TB! Pricing is unknown, but if you have to ask you can probably not afford this notebook.
Similar to its vehicular counterpart, the VX5 also features technological advancements that provide users with impressive performance. Powered by an Intel® Core™2 Quad processor and 4GB memory, it features a TwinTurbo mode that users can utilize to accelerate CPU and GPU performance via a speed key. A 16-inch full high definition display provides more-than-ample viewing space for documents, pictures or movies. Images are displayed in visual vibrancy and clarity, thanks to a dedicated NVIDIA® GeForce™ GT 130M graphics card with GDDR3 1GB VRAM. A newly-adopted illuminated ‘chiclet’ keyboard automatically lights up in low light conditions, while a Blu-ray disc combo optical drive completes this comprehensive package of panache and power.
