Dell Adamo costs $1,999 but specs disappoint

Dell officially introduced the Adamo 13.4" ultraportable notebook today, claiming it's world's thinnest notebook. The notebook looks really good and is now available for preorder in pearl and onyx colors. Prices start at $1,999 but the specifications don't really impress.

For two grand you're just getting a system with a 1.2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 2GB 800MHz DDR3 memory, 128GB SSD, Intel GMA X4500 integrated graphics, 13.4" 16:9 HD display, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, two USB 2.0 ports, USB/eSATA combo port, DisplayPort, Ethernet port and Windows Vista Home Premium. The advertised battery life is up to 5+ hours, but that's still a preliminary figure. The Dell Adamo will start shipping on March 26th.
