Posted on Thursday, May 14 2009 @ 20:59:40 CEST by

AMD uploaded a video of an AMD Phenom II X4 955 overclocking session, Chew overclocked the chip using three cooling methods: air cooling, dry ice and liquid nitrogen.

Here's a brief look at the achievements:
  • Air: 4515MHz (4070MHz extreme stability)
  • Dry ice: 5167MHz (4717MHz extreme stability)
  • LN2: 6405MHz (6284MHz stable SuperPI 1M, 5751MHz extreme stability)
  • Overclocker Chew* relentlessly overclocks "Dragon Technology" with stock AMD Phenom II X4 955 on air, phase, dry ice, and liquid nitrogen. See record 3DMark06 performance for dual ATI Crossfire with ATI Radeon HD 4850 and 4890 GPU, Gigabyte motherboards and OCZ memory. Proving Grounds.
