FUD Zilla claims the upcoming NVIDIA GeForce GTS 260M will be clocked at 550MHz with 1375MHz shaders and 1GB GDDR5 memory at 1800MHz. This is the company's first 40nm notebook chip and according to the rumors it will come with DirectX 10.1 support. The site says NVIDIA plans to launch five 40nm notebook GPUs with DX10.1 support.
It was kind of logical to expect a 128-bit bus, as with GDDR5 can deliver twice as much bandwidth compared to GDDR3 at the same 128-bit bus. Since Geforce GTX 280M has 128 shaders, it will remain the performance king, despite the fact it is based on the G92b 55nm chip.
