AMD wants to gain back 15 percent of notebook market

Sources at notebook vendors told DigiTimes that AMD aims to gain back a 15 percent share of the global notebook market:
The company's next-generation Tigris platform has already landed orders from Hewlett-Packard (HP), Toshiba, Acer and Asustek Computer, with notebooks to launch in Asia in September 2009, followed by North America, Europe, the Middle-East and Africa in October.
