Hercules prepping eCAFE EC-1000W Windows 7 netbook

TC Mag heard Hercules will introduce a Windows 7 Starter Edition based netbook, it's named eCAFÉ EC-1000W and will be available by the end of October for $399. Inside the 10.1" netbook is the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, 1GB RAM, integrated graphics and a 250GB HDD.

Hercules' netbook also features a 10.1-inch (1024x600) screen, a built-in webcam, 10/100 LAN, WiFi, a 6-cell battery, and will be loaded with some eCAFÉ software and OpenOffice.org 3. The Windows 7 Starter Edition-loaded eCAFÉ EC-1000W is set to debut at the end of October priced at $399.
