Nintendo Wii price cut is now official

Nintendo officially confirmed its Wii console will get a price cut, the company said the US price will drop to $199.99 on September 27. A price cut for Europe has been confirmed for October 2, but it is unknown by how much the price will drop in that region.

Additionally, Nintendo also provided details on the launch date of two games; Wii Fit Plus will debut on October 4, while New Super Mario Bros. is slated for November 15.
