Apple debuts new AirPort Extreme, Time Capsule and Remote

Other products from Apple that got an update today include the AirPort Extreme, Time Capsule and Remote.

The new AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule promise 25 percent faster performance due to tweaks to the antenna design, and the Time Capsule promises 60 percent faster backups in Mac OS X Snow Leopard. The new AirPort Extreme will soon ship for $179, while the Time Capsule will be available in 1TB and 2TB capacities for $299 and $499, respectively.

Additionally, the company also equipped with Remote with an aluminum design. This product offers some basic audio controls for the iPod, iPhone and Mac. It will be available within two to four weeks for $19, but if you're planning to use it with the iPod or iPhone you'll also need the $49 iPod Universal Dock.
