The MoviePlayer will connect to the iPod via the dock connector and draw upon its storage capabilities, delivering video playback on a 3.5", 16-bit TFT display as opposed to the small, monochrome display of the iPod itself. Apple iPod to play videos with Nyko's MoviePlayer

At the CES in Las Vegas, Nyko Technologies announced an iPod peripheral which gives users the ability to play videos stored on their iPod on a 3.5" display. This device is dubed MoviePlayer - very original - and will be released in spring 2005.
