FUD Zilla warns a new type of phishing has been discovered that invites people to sign up for nonexistent beta programs of upcoming video games:
News reached us today that was confirmed by the powers that be at Electronic Arts and DICE that there are some Emails circulating that are seeking people to sign up and register for the upcoming Battlefield Bad Company 2 Beta. This is pretty hard to do, since no official beta yet exists.

The Email invitation that is circulating is a fake. These emails appear to be a phishing attempt to gain information; and the URL that the Email points to is also shady. EA and DICE have their corporate security team investigating the situation.
