Infineon launched an "Aenoen" brand name for DRAM modules targeting the white-box PC market.
The “Aeneon” brand was launched in November, 2004, in the US and Europe, and Infineon will soon start selling products under this brand name in Asia, the firm told DigiTimes.com. Infineon plans to sell Aeneon-branded products through third-party DRAM-module makers.
The company is already selling 256MB unbuffered DDR333 chips under the Aeneon brand name. Other products that will ship under this brand name in the future include memory modules using DDR2 chips.
