Samsung Electronics last year shipped more than 15 million graphics DDR3 (GDDR3) memory chips, the fastest graphics memory available today.
Samsung’s GDDR3 offers gamers, workstation users, designers and other graphics-oriented users a system bandwidth up to 44.8GBps, 48% more bandwidth than GDDR1, the firm said in a January 12 press release.
