HP improves its Itanium Integrity server line

HP today announced a number of improvements to its Itanium-based Integrity server line. This includes new chips, support for the OpenVMS operating system and new options to run multiple tasks on the same machine.
As previously reported, higher-end Integrity servers are available: Intel's newest top-line Itanium processor with 9MB of high-speed cache memory, and HP released version 8.2 of its venerable OpenVMS operating system that now can run on Itanium.
