Intel plans 65nm Presler processor for Q1 2006

Intel is adding new products to its desktop processor line in order to combat AMD and to regain its performance crown.

Presler is a 65nm dual-core CPU. It is said that Intel already has early samples of this chip up and running in their fabs.
