Acer wants to become biggest PC maker by 2012

Acer revealed it aims to become world's biggest PC maker by 2012:
Taiwan-based Acer Inc, the world's third-largest PC brand, aims to take the largest share in the global PC market by 2012, Taiwan's Economic Daily reported on Wednesday, citing Chairman Wang Jeng-tang and President Gianfranco Lanci as saying.

Acer currently holds 13% of the global PC market, following market leader Hewlett-Packard Co, which owns a 19.3% share, according to sources.
