Michael Dell shows off Mini 5 tablet

Michael Arrington bumped into Michael Dell at the World Economic Forum in Davos and received a quick demonstration of the company's upcoming Mini 5 tablet device. The device looks pretty awesome, but with a price tag of nearly $1,100 this Snapdragon powered unit is quite expensive for a 5" tablet.
To recap, the Mini 5 is a 1GHz Snapdragon-powered netpad (did I just coin a phrase?) running Android 1.6 with 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and 3G mobile. It should be selling for $1,098 before carrier subsidy.

However, if Mr. Dell here has it and says it’s coming “in a few months,” we seem to have a confirmation that the Mini 5 will be reaching our shores sometime soon.
