Sony PlayStation Portable launch to be delayed in Europe and Asia

Sony said that the launch of the PlayStation Portable will likely be delayed in Europe and Asia, because their production can't keep up with the higher than expected demand for these portable consoles.
"But because demand for PSPs is surpassing production capacity, we are now reconsidering the timing of sales in Europe and Asia," said SCE spokesman Kenichi Fukunaga.
In North America the PSP will be available on March 24.

Fukunaga also said that by summer they plan to be able to keep up with global demand, as the production will be raised to 2 million units a month.
