For the entry-level market, the company will launch the 3.2GHz Pentium E6700 in the second quarter of 2010. The chip will arrive at the same price as the current E6600, and prices of the current E6000 series will drop along with the launch.
In the same quarter, we can also expect the 3.2GHz Core i3-550 and 3.6GHz Core i5-680. Both models will have integrated graphics, but the Core i3-550 will lack support for the Turbo Boost technology.
For the high-end market, Intel is prepping the Core i7-880 and Core i7-970, these chips are expected in the second or third quarter, with a 32nm six-core Core i7-970 also ready for the third quarter.
