The launch of MSI's first motherboard with Lucid Hydra technology wasn't without problems, but the company hasn't given up on the technology and revealed plans to introduce mainstream motherboards with Hydra technology sometime later this year.

The company is showing off the 870A-GD60 Hydra at CeBIT and claims this model will not cost significantly more than regular 870 motherboards. Exact pricing is unknown, but the company hinted at a price tag of just over 100EUR. The MSI 870A-GD60 Hydra features two PCIe x16 slots, MSI Active Phase Switching technology, SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0.
