Budget processor coolers compared

HardOCP has compared three new budget processor coolers to some other popular choices. You can check out the comparison over here, it includes the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2, Cooler Master N520 and Scythe Shuriken Rev.B.
The best performing cooler of the bunch tested today is the Cooler Master N520. The N520 placed better than I thought most forty dollar coolers would. It has shown itself to be a strong competitor for the budget minded user. The only downside is the use of two 92mm fans to achieve this level of performance. Upgrading the fans means buying two 92mm fans over one 120mm fans more commonly used. But these are the compromises one must make when sticking to a budget.
