About.com was for sale

Primedia, a publishing company owned by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, has put About.com for sale. The bidding is said to have ended yesterday and probably five companies have made a bid, this includes Google, Yahoo, The New York Times Company, AOL and Ask Jeeves.
Final bids are due Tuesday, and the asking price is $350 million to $500 million, they said.
