EE Times published an article about the latest power management research projects at Intel. This includes "resilient circuits", super capacitors, and the "ProxZzzy" push specification.
Wen-Hann Wang, a vice president at Intel Labs and a director of circuits and systems research, described how the company is developing "resilient circuits" to help manage power, as well as push specifications like "ProxZzzy" to lower the power consumption of network devices.

Some of Wang's talk was presented at the Intel Developer Forum in Sept. 2009, where, as in Thursday's discussion, Wang declined to say when the power-saving technologies could be implemented in product form.
