ASUS debuts EeeBox PC EB1007 with Atom D410

ASUS introduced a new Pinetrail-based nettop, the EeeBox PC EB1007. It's a compact low-end system that requires around 40W of power, it features the Intel Atom D410, 1GB DDR2 memory, Intel NM10 chipset, 160GB 2.5" SATA HDD, Windows XP Home, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, SD/SDHC/MMC memory card reader, two USB 2.0 ports, and eSATA. The EB1007 has one VGA output and can be attached to the VESA mount of an LCD display if you buy the optional VESA Mount Kit.
The EeeBox PC is a mini desktop PC with huge possibilities. Since the EeeBox PC only requires around 40 watts of power, your carbon footprint is reduced by 80% compared to a standard PC.
