FUD Zilla heard Intel is working on some new mobile Core i7 chips. In the third quarter we can expect the Core i7 660UM, a 1.33GHz chip capable of hitting 2.4GHz on Turbo Mode.

The fourth quarter will see the launch of the Core i7 680UM, this chip is clocked at 1.46GHz and has a 2.53GHz Turbo mode. This ultra-low-voltage dual-core chip has a TDP of 18W.
Core i7 680 UM has an 18W TDP, two cores with four thread support and integrated graphics clocked at 166MHz, capable of overclocking to 500MHz. The memory works at 800MHz and the CPU has 4MB of cache.

Intel is supposed to ship i7 640UM, 620UM this quarter and apparently the company has been shipping these CPUs as of Q1 2010, but we have still to see any significant numbers of notebooks based on these 18W TDP CPUs.
