Transcend presents the StoreJet 25D2, a new USB 2.0 external HDD.
Transcend Information, Inc. (Transcend®), a worldwide leader in storage and multimedia products, today introduced the newest addition to its StoreJet® family, the StoreJet 25D2 2.5-inch portable hard drive. This attractive new USB 2.0 model combines a lustrous gloss finish with an advanced internal hard drive suspension system, striking a perfect balance between outward appearance and inner quality.

Sleek yet rugged design
The passport-sized StoreJet 25D2 portable hard drive is sleek and stylish with a mirror-like high gloss outer finish, yet it is also remarkably tough and rugged. Under its seemingly delicate case is an advanced internal hard drive suspension system that helps prevent damage caused by accidental slips or falls during travel. For further piece of mind, its useful anti-slip rubber feet provide a stable base for resting on a table or computer case. Also an eco-friendly drive, the StoreJet 25D2 is designed to automatically go into power-saving sleep mode after ten minutes of inactivity, allowing energy-savings of up to 30%.

Amazing cost/performance value
Backed by an extra-long 3-year warranty, the StoreJet 25D2 portable hard drive provides a higher level of reliability, quality and longevity. To protect against dirt and scratches, the StoreJet 25D2 comes with a stylish faux-suede travel pouch that allows users to carry it snugly and safely in their briefcase, purse, backpack or car. Offering exceptional quality at an affordable price, the StoreJet 25D2 is a drive that will earn considerable recognition from value-conscious users.

As with other StoreJet drives, the StoreJet 25D2 is Windows 7 certified, and comes bundled with Transcend`s own StoreJet Elite software that offers intelligent backup scheduling, Internet tools and 256-bit AES encryption. Currently offered in classic black, the StoreJet 25D2 is available in four capacities: 250GB, 320GB, 500GB and 640GB.
