Alienware's M11x ultra-portable gaming laptop has received an update. The 11.6" system is now available with Intel's Core i7 UM processors and NVIDIA's Optimus technology, with prices starting at $949.
Looking at the configuration sheet for the new M11x, we see a choice of 1.06GHz Core i5-520UM or 1.2GHz Core i7-640UM processors, 2GB to 8GB of DDR3 RAM, 160-320GB of mechanical storage or 256GB of solid-state goodness, optional Bluetooth 2.1, and Windows 7 Home Premium x64, Professional x64, or Ultimate x64 operating systems.

Standard features include a 11.6" 1366x768 display, GeForce GT 335M discrete graphics with 1GB of RAM, and 802.11n Wi-Fi.
