Hexus noticed the ASUS P6X58D-E motherboard has become somewhat cheaper in the UK:
ASUS is hoping to breathe some new life into its Intel X58 chipset business by taking the price-cutting hammer to the P6X58D-E motherboard, which is down from the usual £170-£180 retail outlay to sub-£150 this week.

Much like the P6X58D Premium that's the mainstay of our high-end testing platform, the P6X58D-E arrives with a surfeit of features. The specifications page shows that it supports the latest Core i7 chips; six DIMM slots; three mechanical x16 PCIe slots; SATA 6Gbps; USB 3.0 and FireWire, for starters, so it's not a bad deal for 150 notes.
