Microsoft unveiled its MSN AdCenter contextual advertising solution two days ago at the sixth edition of its Strategic Account Summit. The audience of this year's summit included a few competitors - Google's chairman and CEO Eric Schmidt and also Yahoo's senior vice president Ted Meisel.

The company hopes AdCenter will be able to gain some market share in the paid search market by offering a few unique features. Advertisers will be able to buy key words with information regarding consumers' geographic location, gender, age and lifestyle.
