LG will impress visitors at the IFA 2010 conference in Berlin with a new 31" 3D OLED TV that is just 2.9mm thick! The screen is expected to start shipping in September, but unfortunately the firm didn't reveal pricing information.
According to its maker, the OLED TV is the thinnest one around - has a 0.29cm frame, can display 3D content (bring out the blue aliens) and will go on sale in Germany, South Korea and France in September. Expect a hefty price tag though, it's a must with new technology.
